In this application, Supplier City’s platform would interface with the Distributor’s ERP system to provide them with the capabilities and tools needed to operate managed inventory programs for their customers. The types of programs include just-in-time (JIT), direct line feed (DLF), third-party and fourth-party logistics (3PL/4PL), kitting, supplier consignment, tool crib management, chemical management, auto replenishment, traditional long term pricing agreements (LTA) and more. In addition, Supplier City’s robust requirements planning capabilities can be used to automate and manage the Distributor’s contracted sources of supply for the items being supplied to their customer’s managed inventory programs.
